Program transformation

While your mission stays constant, your programs sometimes need to evolve. How can a mentoring program, for example, virtually deliver the right contacts and resources to help young adults continue to build job skills and life tools in a suddenly unsteady world? How can a counseling service strengthen their earned income strategy to take advantage of new opportunities in behavioral telehealth? What new revenue streams will help a community center build and strengthen the programs their seniors and young adults need?

To make good decisions, no matter what your model, we can partner on:

  • Client needs assessment to understand their current challenges and wish list.

  • Program audit and SWOT to identify what’s working and not.

  • Environmental and competitive scan to see where you might go or need to strengthen messaging.

  • Short-term strategic planning and resource assessment to help you plot what’s next.

  • Operational planning to make it actionable.

  • Evaluation or KPI measurement to make it real.

We’ll work together to set good program goals, then identify the key improvements or changes—people, processes, tools—to make it happen. No need to redo work or fix things that aren’t broken; we’ll start where you are to get you where you need to go.

Why me?

  • I’ve led programming and operations at one of the largest food access organizations in NYC, where we home-delivered more than 2M meals a year to some of New York’s most vulnerable residents—and created a shipped meals program to reach even more people and partner with bigger players.

  • I’ve scaled programs in both professional services and direct services models, while creating evaluation frameworks to keep us on target.

  • I’ve built or tweaked tools and processes to support all kinds of services, from an online consultant matching program to a home delivery model supporting 1,000 clients a day.

  • I’ve counseled nonprofits as a board member, a consultant, and an in-house executive.

  • And I’ve supported hundreds of nonprofits looking for the right resources to achieve their most critical mission goals.

Your community needs you, no matter what’s changing. Let’s make sure your programming reflects the strengths and assets of your team, your history, and your supporters.
